Digital Djunkies is a new name on the electronic scene in Copenhagen. A fusion of two experienced DJ's, FUBO and Martin Bang - together they've spent more than 15 years behind the decks. Early 2011 they toyed with the idea to jointly take to the stage, to convey the message about their perception and thoughts in music - an experimental mix of tech, minimal and progressive grooves. They've both been DJ'ing anywhere from weddings and fetish parties to hip-hop gigs and house events, not to mention radio and TV-shows in Denmark and abroad.
Now is the time for them to conquer the electronic scene and with their debut this summer at Distortion at Fredens Park, they made it clear that they're up and coming! They deliver to you their very first - but definitely not last – mixtape, exclusive for The RAW Tapes series. Enjoy!
His name is Klaus B, and everyone who knows anything about the Danish scene knows that he’s the King of Techno – with a CV that stretches back to 1991 and a record collection that stretches beyond your wildest dreams. Indeed, this year marks his 20th anniversary as The Boss. But wait, there’s more numerology to be dug here:
Last year, Klaus B. gave us a brilliant RAW Tape No. 5. Today, it’s August 5, and he’s giving us RAW Tape No. 5, 2011 stylee! On top of that, August 5 also happens to be his birthday, which means WE should be giving him presents. Instead, he’s treating US to a brilliant mixtape, jam-packed with electronic goodies. As you might expect from a cat with such a pedigree, the mix is flawless, well thought through and perfectly delivered. Sit back, hook up your biggest speakers, pour yourself a massive Friday drink and just enjoy – but don’t forget to send a big-up to The Boss. Much love from the RAW crew.

Already a household name when the Danish club scene exploded in the late nineties, Kenneth Broxgaard aka. DJ Patrick Bateman has been a key party player for almost two decades. He’s a prime son of a Danish techno/house scene that just keeps on getting better and better and he knows all the artistic effects down to the last beat, from vicious minimalism over luscious deep tech-house.
The last 10-12 years, Patrick Bateman has really made his mark. Touring everywhere in Denmark and many venues in Europe, US/Canada and Japan, Bateman’s remarkably energetic, spot free sets have presented the minimal techno/house vibe to an audience that’s moved from curious to responsive to exhilarated.
