SPARKLE MOTION (DJ YODA)

When legendary club-rocker DJ Yoda and the Argentinean-based R&B connoisseur TOBE$ join forces, they become... SPARKLE MOTION.
Their series of free, internet-only R&B mixes has piqued the interest of some of the upper echelons of the global DJ fraternity - unsurprising with only the most carefully chosen (and sometimes obscurest) tracks making the cut.
Yoda (Duncan Beiny), more commonly known as the creator of the "How To Cut & Paste" mixes, and as global purveyor of a unique Audio-Visual DJ show, here indulges in his soulful extra-curricular activities, alongside childhood friend TOBE$ - the one-man encyclopedia of urban contemporary beats.
Their first mix "Flight School Vol. 1" took the intros and breaks of 80s R&B records and blended them together to create one of the most original "break" mixes of the past decade; eliciting the description "music for the jacuzzi, sauna or private jet".
Follow-up mixes have focused on sub-genres like New Jack Swing ("New Jack City"), the work of legendary R&B producers Jimmy Jam & Terry Lewis ("Flyte Tyme") and the self-explanatory "Slow Jamz".
Now Sparkle Motion move into the live arena, hoping to prove that today's club-goers aren't just about electro, house and dubstep, but just as happy to party to some block-rockin', timeless R&B from yester-year - perfect for an arena at RAW 2011 that also boasts Afta-1, Jazzy Jazzy, Oriol and many more.
