THOMAS MADVIG

Thomas Madvig’s talent and dedication has brought him through a diverse career that includes radio & TV presenting, music production, remixing and record label ownership and of course DJing.

His career began in 1985 on various radio stations, not least The Voice, Denmark’s biggest commercial radio station. In 1989, Thomas began his DJ career, and over a short period made a name for himself. From ’96 to ’99 he worked as a presenter for MTV Europe, where he hosted the MTV News and Select MTV shows. In London, Thomas signed up with the DJ collective Deep Blue Music, which kept him busy as a DJ at underground events and clubs.

Returning to Denmark in 2000, Thomas worked for the national Danish Radio Broadcast’s main channel P3, where he build up the famous D’Store Mix show, which was to become Denmark’s most important distributor of quality underground electronic music. Since then he has worked on a series of trendsetting projects - the latest being his übercool, exclusive club TS Bar. At RAW2011, Thomas presents a sexy arena with among others Shlomi Aber - an arena about which he talks in this the first of our RAW CPH TV installments (in Danish). Enjoy!
