Pattern Repeat is undoubtedly one of the best modern Techno acts to come out of Denmark. The duo, consisting of Kenneth Christiansen and Dennis Uprock aka Resoe, have been around the block and their expertise and huge music knowledge shines through in both their dj sets and their live/dj performances.
Kenneth Christiansen’s interest in electronic music goes back to 1991, when he started dj’ing on a small scale. Since 1996 he has been working with electronic music and in 2002 Kenneth founded the label Echocord. So far he has released artists like Mikkel Metal, Fenin, Anders Ilar, Andreas Tilliander, Thomas Fehlmann, Substance, Vainqueur, Dub Tractor, Opiate, Dug Surgeon, Jan Jelinek, The Modernist, Michael Mayer and many others and in 2008 he started the sister label Echocord Colour. Furthermore he is the man behind Copenhagen Club Culture Box which every month brings some of the most interesting and big names in techno, house and electronic music to Scandinavia.
Resoe has also been involved in the music business for more than 20 years. He started out as a hip hop dj in 1986 at the early age of 14, but when house made it’s impact inEurope in the late 80’s he picked up on that and his passion for electronic music was born.
In 1998, Resoe bought his first sampler, and now has several releases behind him under monikers like Sedrian, Krew, Resoe and of course Pattern Repeat. Resoe is also the founder- and owner of Baum Records, who put out some strong releases with acts like Marko Fürstenberg, Resoe and Johan Fotmeijer.
The first release by Pattern Repeat was released on Echocord Colour in January 2010 and soon after Resoe and Kenneth started the label Pattern Repeat - to have a platform to release their own productions.
The guys’ amazing dj skills have brought them to venues like Berghain/Berlin, Fabric/London, Loft/Barcelona, Sonar Festival/Barcelona, La Rouche/Lausanne, Flex/Vienna, Weekend Club/Berlin, Trailerpark Festival/Copenhagen and Culture Box/Copenhagen to name just a few. And now, they'll bring their massive live set to RAW!
