CONFIRMED FOR RAW 2010: DJUNA BARNES

Djuna Barnes aka. Maria Gerhardt stole her alias from her favourite writer, around the Millennium and have since been here, there and everywhere in the Danish club scene. She has played all over Denmark n and the best bars and clubs in Scandinavia, Reykjavik, Berlin, Paris, London, Barcelona, New York and Tokyo.

She has been involved in Dunst.dk, Suicide Sundays, Yo!had, Jolene Bar and currently she has the monthly Dødskarusellen at new hot spot Bakken in the meatpacking district. She has sound designed for different companies, the annual danish movie awardshow and a number of designers including: Mads Nørgaard, Stine Goya, Vilsbøl De Arce, SponDiogo and she is behind the superblogged Urbanizer and Hippie mixes - where you can get a sniff of how amazing - a music selector she is.

Apart from dj'ing, sound design and co-hosting the radioprogram Kosmo on national danish radio P2, Djuna is also a freelance writer with columns and interviews in cool and dead-serious paper Information and the musicmagazine Soundvenue + she is currently writing on a book. Djuna Barnes is known for playing a wide spektr of music, but always delivered with huge personality, continuity and surprices.
