CONFIRMED FOR RAW 2010: TIM DRIVER

Besides being the co-founder of RAW, Tim is also one-fourth of the award-winning crew OHOI!, and is probably best known for doing hypeman shouting at the early OHOI! events and then taking the art of DJing the wicked style of Drum & Bass under his wings. But in fact, the DJ journey to this point began in the 90’s, where his joy of spinning Rave music evolved into Detroit Techno and then reaching its climax with the true power of New York and Chicago Wild Pitch House in the midst of that decade.

From having a few releases on Danish label Multiplex in ‘97-98, Tim went on to do some beatboxing as hypeman in the “electro-jazz-tech-funk” band BassSnatchers together with his later DJ- and work partner 2000F.  A relationship that grew into the now well renowned OHOI!.

Today, more than a hundred events later, it’s still the work of organizing OHOI!, RAW and running the Dubstep label Kraken Recordings, that takes most of Tim’s time. Nevertheless, the DJing has not been put away and, as always when OHOI! goes crazy on a bass-driven system, Tim will be firing up the rolling sounds of Drum & Bass at RAW 2010.
