With junglism in his blood, Leon Smart aka Scratcha took his teenage steps on the UK scene nearly a decade ago. He was involved with the Afterschock Crew, which also counted among them Terror Danjah, Triple Threat and Bruza. Well-traversed in Grime and other trendsetting sounds of UK, Scratcha DVA is today among a handful of hotly tipped producers on the Funky / What-you-call-it scene.

Scratcha's debut on the highly respected label Hyperdub was a massive 12” voyage into synths, stabs and claps tearing down pirate airwaves, clubs and raves across the global bass community. He’s even launched his own DVA label. At the same time, his hot Breakfast Show on Rinse FM is a key spot for lock-on for everyone with a penchant for steps and bass.
