CONFIRMED FOR RAW 2010: HETY & ZAMBO (COL)

Rising as one of the main Dancehall / Alternative groups around Colombia, The Caribbean and Latin-America, their powerful sound full of Afro flavor makes their music break all the frontiers, getting into the heart of thousands of fans.

Their members represent the only Caribbean island of Colombia. They have been working as a band since 2002 making their mixtape debut “WI RULE DI ERIA” released in 2006, which contains the hit singles “SEKE SEKE” and “MI BUNKI”, the video clips of which traveled around the web and showed their unique islander style. Back in 2007 and 2008 they toured for the first time all over Colombia, getting a great number of fans in the Caribbean coast, mid and Pacific coast. 2009 was the turn of their first album called “DREAMS CAN COME TRU” which represents the feeling of being part of a small island in the middle of Caribbean sea and taken out from their home to get into a music business without forgetting their roots and native Creole dialect.

HETY AND ZAMBO have toured as opening act for bands from PUERTO RICO, PANAMA and JAMAICA like TEGO CALDERON, ANTHONY B, CALLE 13, MAGIC JUAN and many others.

During 2009 they put their talent in the studio again to make their second Mixtape “MOD UP STYLE” a compilation full of fast Reggae music, Dancehall, Zouk, Soca and Electro sounds. Actually they are working on the new album called “DI NEXT STEP” that will release in 2010, showing a new sound of Caribbean Vibes.
